CAROLYN WELCH
Carolyn Welch, 91, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 3p.m. at Baptist St. Anthony Hospital in Amarillo. She was born at home in Gilliland, to Sam and Mary (Massingill) Stone.
Carolyn and Leonard Welch were married for 53 years before he passed away. She was a member of North Amarillo Church of Christ. She was a wonderful singer, artist and played the piano with beauty. Carolyn loved the Lord with all her heart, and she loved people and loved to help them all she could.
Carolyon is survived by daughter Bonnie Ann Yeager and husband Charles; grandchildren David Yeager and wife Cindy, Steven Yeager and wife Tammie, Maxwell Welch and wife Jordan, Maryssa Hamilton and husband Luke and Megan Welch; nine greatgrandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son Danny Welch.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, March 26th at the Gilliland Cemetery under the direction of McCauley-Smith Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at North Amarillo Church of Christ on Sunday, April 7 at 4:30 p.m. in Amarillo.
