Glenn R. Pruitt of Victoria died on Aug 9 at the age of 64. He was born on July 21, 1955. He is survived by his brother, Bruce C. Pruitt of Amarillo Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Hazel and brother Johnny R. Pruitt.
Glenn was a graduate of Munday High School in 1973 and Texas Tech University in 1977, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. He worked for the Texas
A&M Research Center and Funk Seed Company for several years. He worked briefly in Barbados raising cotton and also Alvin, Texas raising rice. He changed his career in 1997 and started working for Griffith Land Services of Houston as a Landman in the Oil and Gas industry for the past 22 years, where he worked throughout the State of Texas.
His hobbies were fishing and hunting and was known to be an avid gun collector. His heart was big enough for all those that knew him. He will be remembered as a friend to many and was known to help others whenever he could.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 3 at the First Baptist Church of Munday, with Rev. Shane Kendrix officiating.
