MUNDAY—The Munday Consolidated Independent School District board of trustees approved a Jan. 1 start date for new athletic director Justin Josselet at a salary of $70,811 during its monthly meeting Monday night.
Supt. Troy Parton indicated this will give Josselet a chance to start the search for an additional assistant coach and to handle other duties in a timely fashion.
The trustees accepted a bid of $20,880.10 from Joe Bejar for a sprinkler system at Munday High School, using money from the bond construction fund.
Trustee Junior Reyes was added to the district’s safety committee.
In addition, the trustees approved an out-of-state trip to Oklahoma City for the class of 2020 and accepted policy updates from the Texas Association of School Boards and an engagement letter with Rodgers for the 2019-2020 fiscal year
