BENJAMIN—The Knox County Historical Commission and the Friends of KCHC will host its annual fundraiser on Sunday here at the Benjamin Ex-Students Building.
Brisket is being added to the meal menu that will include sausage, turkey, pinto beans, coleslaw, potato salad, homemade pies, bakery bread, tea and coffee. Serving will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until 1:30 p.m. The cost will be $12 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. Take outs will be available.
Door prizes will be given at intervals during the meal, plus there will be a silent auction ending at 1:30 p.m.
The museum will be open from noon until 3 p.m. Sunday during the fundraiser. Regular hours are 1-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment at other times.
