The mental health of many is suffering along with the physical health during the COVID-19 crisis.
The Texas Department of State Health Services is working in conjunction with local mental health centers to provide a free 24/7 phone hotline at 833-986-1919 for people dealing with depression, anxiety, stress or other issues during this time.
This will link anyone with a mental health professional who can help with anxiety, depression or stress during this time. The hotline is also available in Spanish.
The Helen Farabee Centers crisis hotline at 1-800-621-8504 is also capable of providing supportive mental health services including concerns or distress due to the COVID-19 situation.
