KNOX CITY—The Knox City High School graduation is planned for 8 p.m. May 23 at Greyhound Stadium. A bad weather make-up date is scheduled at the same time on May 30.
Students will be allowed a limited number of seats per person. Spectators will be seated on the field as well as some in the home side bleachers. The ceremony will include a speaker along with valedictorian and salutatorian addresses. Graduates will come up to the stage to receive their diplomas and awards all at one time and pose for a photo.
On release, students will go to their vehicles and will be followed by a scheduled release of spectators. At that time the graduates will be escorted down Main Street in their vehicles for anyone to line the streets and see.
O’Brien Junior High will have graduation at 8 p.m. May 22 at the stadium, following the same procedures as the high school.
