KNOX CITY—The Pink Ladies Thrift Shop in Knox City is open for business after closing in April
due to the pandemic.
The shop’s new hours will be 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays
and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fridays.
“We appreciate all the donations during the time that we had to be closed,” said Billie Walker. “We are thankful the virus outbreak has not been severe within our community and sincerely hope that it is never severe.”
Walker added volunteers are needed at the shop. Several of the shop’s usual volunteers have experienced falls and surgeries recently that have left them unable to work, she said.
