From The News-Courier staff—
BENJAMIN—Knox County Judge Stan Wojcik reported last week in a Facebook post that the county has eight active and three recovered cases of COVID-19.
Checking back on Monday, he reported no additional cases but mentioned that he and his wife had gone to the mobile unit in Haskell last Saturday to be tested with a swab instead of the other test where they insert a tube into the nose.
With fewer than 20 cases, Knox County is exempt from some of the mandates issued Gov. Greg Abbott.
