BENJAMIN— Knox County health authority Dr. Rodney Sholty reported Monday morning the number of active coronavirus cases was 34 , and the number of recovered cases is 18.
The total now stands at 52.
“We’ve had only two hospitalizations and no deaths,” said Knox County Judge Stan Wojcik, attributing that to fast acting by medical professionals when cases are reported.
Wojcik also added that the CDC is using 10-day quarantine, not 14-day quarantine. Many residents of the Munday Nursing Center sent to a facility in Abilene are now back in Munday getting treatment, Wojcik said.
