MUNDAY—The Economic Development Corporation A Board of Munday moved closer to acquiring the old Munday Chamber of Commerce building during a meeting last Thursday.
Secretary Travis Floyd said the two former chamber officials were ready to sign everything over to the EDC and more research, including a survey, will be done to get everything ready for a potential buyer in the future.
The board also heard about theater chairs in the “Icehouse” building but decided they were owned by the Munday Fire Department.
Dr. Randall Sloan also told the board he is not ready at this time to consider leasing options on another property owned by the EDC.
