KNOX CITY—The annual Ag-Oil golf tournament, limited to only a morning start this year, saw a closely-bunched finish here Saturday with three teams all posting 12-under-par 58s at the Knox City Country Club.
The Sky Rey foursome of Domingo Garcia, Chad Donnel, Eddie Baldwin and Woody Carlock won the top prize in a scorecard playoff.
Chris Tatum, Jacob Rodriquez, Simon Rodriquez and James Gober took second while the Baker Hughes team of Mario Abila, M.J. Abila, Robert Rodriquez and Braden Rodriquez finished third.
Todd Austin, Gary Crawford, Wed Crawford and Ryan Offut finished fourth with a 60.
Three teams earned wild card prizes: Eddie Offield, Kelly Offield, Charles Starnes and Kelly Baggett; Kinder Morgan team of Raymond Nichols, Alex Ledesma, Brett Leak and Tyke Meinzer; and Summit Supply team of Jose Contreras, Daniel Contreras, Greg Williams and Jessie Rodriquez.
M.J. Abila and Braden Rodriquez claimed prizes for the longest drives on Nos. 6/ 15 and 9, respectively.
Winning closest to the pin were Michael Burbank (2/11), Matt Rolston (5/14) and Cody Ivy (9).
