MUNDAY—After reopening the secondary school on Tuesday, the Munday schools joined the Knox City schools in closing for two weeks later that day. Students had been let out early on Monday for a cleaning.
Parents got a message from Supt. Troy Parton, confirming the decision because of the number of positive cases being reported for students and staff.
Students were allowed to go to school on Wednesday to pick up anything they needed to stay home for remote-learning assignments.
The Moguls’ football game scheduled Friday with Petrolia was cancelled while the opening District 6-2A game with Olney was moved to Nov. 6. Volleyball games were also postponed for the next two weeks. A meeting was scheduled Thursday to make decisions about when they could be rescheduled.
