BENJAMIN—The Knox County Commissioners Court accepted a bid of $10,000 from Booe Roofing to repair the Knox County Jail during its regular monthly meeting last Monday.

In addition, the commissioners adopted a resolution for the 2021 Indigent Defense grant program and accepted a bid of $5,001 from Tyrone Phillips Investments for a Munday property, a bid of $180 from Robert Bowen on another Munday lot and a bid of $500 from James McKinnem for a property in Goree.

Commissioner Jimmy Urbanczyk, in charge of road and bridges, said Mortenson Construction had asked for a four-way stop at the intersection of CR3700 and CR3791 because of higher traffic volume from the work on the wind farms.
