KNOX CITY— The Knox City-O’Brien Consolidated ISD board approved purchasing of new computers from CDW for the administrative office, during its regular October meeting last week.
The board also appointed Jerry Coplen and Lorrie Coop as adjunct faculty members, allowing them to take students to contests. This can be counted as an extracurricular absence.
In addition, they approved a list of goals for the district…
Can we name them?
The trustees heard from a visiting group of dual credit government students, who came to the meeting as part of an extra credit project, asking questions and answering other questions from the trustees.
Superintendent Colin Howeth updated the board concerning school as it relates to the current pandemic. The trustees discussed the pros and cons of continuing or discontinuing remote learning for students but took no action. They also discussed how the district is handling contact tracing following TEA guidelines.
