I’ve known Charles since he was a toddler and got to know him well as we spent holidays dining together since his mother, Lois, and my mother-in-law, Margie Guinn, were sisters. Later we worked together as young accountants and remained close friends. He called me the morning after his recent diagnosis. May he RIP.
