MUNDAY—The Munday City Council passed a resolution to allow the city to accept a NIBRS grant for the Munday Police Department during its regular monthly meeting last Tuesday.
City Manager David Trevino was named as an authorized official to apply for, accept, reject, alter or terminate a grant.
Trevino updated the council about the new water meters from a grant with TDA, saying the city was in the final stages and work would start in late January. Five new hydrants will be added.
Action on a new dog ordinance was tabled with attorney Lina Trevino to bring proposed amendments to the next meeting.
Trevino also indicated the city was picking up tree limbs, “but it may take a little time.” He added that residents should not take the limbs to the Munday Event Center.
