BENJAMIN—The Benjamin Independent School District board of trustees authorized Moffitt & Grimes to begin architect/engineer services during its regular monthly meeting earlier in the month.
The trustees officially canvassed the results of the $21 million bond election, showing 98 votes for and 28.
Supt. Gordon Thomas reported on student enrollment, district and regional cross country, the volleyball and football playoffs and then discussed the schoolhouse renovation, demolition of the rodeo arena, the bus barn project, and closure of city streets.
