Munday Consolidated
Independent School District—
MUNDAY—Munday CISD employees received
an email from Santa inviting them to pay him a visit at the
administration office last Friday and each was presented with a
personalized Mogul jacket and a Christmas card that had a
check for up to $1,600 inside.
The board of trustees approved an incentive program
using the annual windfarm payment and local district
funds to thank the employees for their work during Covid-19
stress, shutdowns, virtual classrooms, feeding programs, etc.
Supt. Troy Parton reminds employees each year to shop
locally and support the nonprofits that serve Munday.
“We are truly blessed to be able to provide something extra
for our employees,” Parton said.
“We have had two very good years from a financial standpoint.”
The board looks for ways to show their appreciation for the
employees. One member said, “If we are going to spend money,
I think the best investment we make is in our people.”
