Santos was born to Emeterio and Santiaga Gonzalez on Nov. 1, 1943, in San Luis de la Paz, Guanajuato. He married Maria Felix Villanueva on Jan. 3, 1962 and happily spent 53 years by her side. In 1993 he was able to finally settle in Munday with all his family.

Santos was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He did his best to teach and guide his family in God’s ways. He had a servant’s heart. He enjoyed helping people and never expected anything in return. He enjoyed playing the accordion and singing Catholic hymns with his family and was a member of the Santa Rosa Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Agustin Gonzalez, his toddler son (Jose Angel) and his wife.

He is survived by his children Sara Rojas of San Luis de la Paz, Gto., Maria de Jesus Gonzalez of Munday, Santos Gonzalez of Munday, Jose Angel Gonzalez of Munday, Maria Elena Jimenez of Wylie, Miguel Angel Gonzalez of Crowell, Felipe Gonzalez of Munday, Felix Gonzalez of Munday, Maria Enedina Vega of Munday, Luis Gonzalez of McKinney; and his sister Paula Gonzalez of Houston.
