ASPERMONT—Sam Barnard was the only individual winner as the Knox City Greyhounds finished third in the Double Mountain Relays with 79 points here last Thursday, finishing behind Paducah with 116 and Aspermont with 86.
Barnard got off a throw of 41-11 to win the shot put and finished third in the discus with a 110-8 effort.
Bryson Callaway finished third in both the 110 and 300 hurdles with clockings of 21.89 and 3:00, respectively. In addition, he placed fourth in the high jump at 4-10 and fifth in the triple jump at 36-1.
Gage Morrow claimed thirds in the 1,600 and the 3,200 with times of 5:41,87 and 12:17.83 while Luke McGaughey took sixth in the 3,200 at 14:05.93.
The foursome of Tres Frausto, Ryan Shaver, Devin Guillory and Tristin Baxter finished third in the 4×100 relay with a 47.68 and fourth in the 4×200 at 1:40.61. Shaver, Caleb Arrieta, Guillory and Baxter were fourth in the 4×400 relay at 4:04.01.
Guillory placed fourth in the long jump with a 18-5 leap.
