MUNDAY—Carlie Willison and Ashia Swearengin both claimed a pair of firsts as the Munday Mogulettes scored 139 points to take third place in the Mogul Relays here last Friday at Phillip McAfee Track.
Windthorst edged Quanah, 174-171, for the title while the Benjamin Lady Stangs finished fourth with 49 points.
Willison posted times of 5:50.38 and 12:19.09 to claim the 1,600 and 3,200 races and finished second in the 800 at 2:29.48 while Swearengin claimed the shot put and discus with throws of 31-9 and 104.
Karley Myers finished second in the 3,200 at 13:22.03 and third in the 1,600 at 6:09.22; Alexa Vega second in the 400 at 1:09.54; Jacklyn third in the 3,200 at 14:23.15; and Dalayney Leija fifth in the 100 hurdles at 22.74.
In the field events, Aleeya Urbanczyk and Anna Urbanczyk finished second and fifth in the discus with 95-6 and 84-6 throws while Vegas took third in the triple jump at 29-11 and fifth in the high jump at 4-2, Kassey Reyes second in pole vault at 6-0 and fifth in triple jump at 28-4 and Allie Willison sixth in triple jump at 27-10.
Braleigh Blanchett’s third in the 300 hurdles with a 54.27 time was the best finish by a Lady Stang while teammate Celestte Doran took fourth in same event at 55.52.
In other running events, Madison Barrientez took fourth in the 800 (2:49.4) and 1,600 (6:48.30), Grace Estrada fifth in the same races with 2:59.72 and 6:59.10 times while Teresa Doran and Valeria Zavala took sixths in the 200 and 400 with 33.36 and 1:14.49 times.
Benjamin’s only points in the field events came from a fifth in the shot put at 28-0 by Raehanna Hardiman.
The Benjamin foursome of Hollie Everson, Zavala, Doran and Blanchette claimed third in the 4×200 relay with a 4:39.25 while Aleeya Urbanczyk, Diaz and Garza finished fourth with a 5:10.52.
Munday finished second in the 4×100 relay in 56.50 and fourth in the 4×200 at 2:04.33 with the foursome of Vega, Allie Willison, Swearengin and Reyes,
Benjamin took third in the 4×200 relay.
