MUNDAY—After advancing to the playoffs, four Munday High basketball players received individual honors for their play.
Senior Carlie Willison, who averaged 19.8 points, 11.3 rebounds, 8.2 assists and 4.8 steals a game, was named all-region and academic all-state by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches, selected for the Red River 22 girls team and the Big Country Preps first team and earned invitations to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Oil Bowl all-star games squads.
Junior Allie Willison earned Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 1A all-state honors and was named to the All Big Country Preps second team as well as the Big Country Preps Rat team and selected to play in the TGCA 1-4A All-Star game. She averaged (16.8 points, 13.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 6.1 steals and 1.2 charges a game.
Junior Karley Myers, who averaged 16.8 points, 13.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 6.1 steals and 1.2 charges, was named TGCA All-State and All Big Country Preps honorable mention.
Sophomore Bryson Wilson, who averaged 19.1 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists, was named all-region by the TABC.
