KNOX CITY—Linda Abila and Lezlie Molina of Knox City teamed with Lisa Rodriquez of Haskell to post a 63 in a scramble format here at the Knox City Country Club Saturday to claim the annual Ladies Wild Hog Classic title.
Crystal Zeissel, Kellie Longan and Caila Daniel of Munday won a scorecard play with the Newcastle team of Jill Davis, Susan McElroy and Darla Fikes to claim runner-up honors after both trios finished with 67s.
Marci Malony, Temi Webb and Betty Starnes claimed the first flight, winning a scorecard playoff with Diana Casillas, Jan Rolston and Jennifer Lane after both trios carded a 72.
Margie McNutt, Kim Brewer and Kay Hatfield also had a 72, but had to settle for a wild card prize.
Webb and Zeissel had the closest approach shots on the par-3 Nos. 2-11 and 5-14, respectively while Kim Clouts had the longest drive on Nos. 6-15.
