Father John Perikomalayil of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rhineland and Santa Rosa Church in Knox City has been assigned to Hillsborough. His last day in Knox City will be June 30. He has been here eight years and four months and he will be missed by his parishioners.
Father John is originally from India, a farming community in the state of Kerala, on the southwest coast of India. He is a member of the Order of the Heralds of Good News. His order assigned him to the Diocese of Fort Worth, which appoints priests to serve at the Catholic churches in Texas.
