KNOX CITY– While in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, Knox County Hospital District was able to expand the medical community with the addition of Dr. Leon Joplin, a family practice physician who serves at Munday Clinic and Knox City Clinic as well as the Knox County Hospital Emergency Room. The new medical provider began seeing patients earlier this year.
“As our region continues to grow, so does our need for medical providers,” said Stephen Kuehler, CEO of Knox County Hospital District. “Dr Joplin is a wonderful contribution to our medical team in Knox County.”
As a family practice physician, Dr. Joplin specializes in the life-long care of patients. Delivering comprehensive healthcare for individuals of all ages, family practice physicians like Dr. Joplin are generally your first point of contact with a health system.
