MUNDAY – The STAAR (State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness) results for grades three, four and five improved significantly over last year’s results, surpassing goals and improving scores.
Elementary Principal Kristi Bufkin reported “Our scores for 2020-2021 exceeded the previous year’s results in spite of Covid.” Bufkin attributed this outstanding achievement to “…awesome teachers and students.”
In other actions, the Board of Trustees for Munday CISD reviewed changes in the student dress code being implemented for the upcoming school year.
