Timilu Latham

Timilu Alice Latham died early in the morning of July 15 and left this world a slightly quieter place.

Born the youngest in the Graham family on May 15, 1958 in Knox City. Timi lived loud. She played music, started companies and she laughed. She built community and deep friendships around her in California, Florida and Texas. To spend an evening with Timi was to be seen and welcomed.  Fearlessly vulnerable, she never took herself so seriously as to prevent an authentic connection. She set high expectations for people around her and was rarely disappointed. She believed in “catching people doing something right” and watched the world through a lens of gratitude.

Timi unflinchingly embodied her values and believed that developing character – who you are when no one is looking – was the goal of this life. She worked hard, sweated through many colorful bandanas and always sought the fun in the process.

She was preceded in death by parents Jeff Graham and Faye McAuley, and siblings J. Tom, Samantha Anderson and Doak.

She is survived by her husband Angus Latham; children Lindsay and Buck; and grandchildren Royce, Sterling and Sienna.

Family and friends plan to celebrate her life at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 31st at the Lamar Volunteer Fire Department. 302 Bois D’Arc St, Rockport, TX 78382.

I remember her in Knox City. She thought a lot about people. Lord Jesus, please bring comfort to this family.
