MUNDAY –The Family Dollar / Dollar Tree store under construction in Munday is progressing on schedule.According to City Manager David Trevino, in meetings with the Munday City Council earlier this year, construction manager Randal Baker informed the council the schedule for the construction of the building is to be finished by mid-September, then installation of shelving, fixtures, and other equipment will start and is projected to be finished in 45 to 60 days. Signs are now installed, and interior painting is almost finished, so the project appears to be on schedule. A “Help Wanted” sign is on the front door now. If the project continues on schedule, the store could open in mid-November.
