BENJAMIN – Sheriff Bush announced that the renovated Knox County Jail opened this week.The Texas Commission on Jail Standards conducted final inspections last week and gave the go-ahead to reopen.
Inmates were scheduled last Monday to be transported back to the Knox County Jail from Haskell where they have been housed until the jail repairs were completed.
