Body The Knox City Volunteer Fire Department, assisted by several other agencies in the area, responded to a hay barn fire east of Knox City, off State Highway 222 with assets belonging to the Walker, Penman and Bosworth families.The fire was monitored and allowed to burn itself out.

Body The Munday Mogulettes win first on new softball field. The first softball games got underway at the new field at MHS. With a successful start the JV girls took the win 15-3, and the Varsity girls pulled off a 4-2 upset.
