KNOX COUNTY Brandon Carr, Manager at the USDA-NRCS James E. “Bud” Smith Plant Materials Center northwest of Knox City reported 0.78 inches of precipitation was received in January.
“That is slightly more than the 0.43 inches we received last January,” said Carr. “But still below our average of 0.93 inches for January.”
