SAN JUAN — Today, at the American Farm Bureau Federation annual convention, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced several major developments at the U.S. Department of Agriculture that will benefit farmers, ranchers and producers across the nation.

After spending weeks studying, crafting, testing recipes and perfecting their wood and metal works, the youth of Knox County participated in the Knox County Junior Project Fair, Skill-a-thon and Agriculture Mechanics show on Friday, January 20, 2023. Across three age divisions, Knox County’s youth were encouraged to enter their projects in a number of categories. Age groups were broken down into Clover, Junior and Senior divisions. The Clover Division consisted of 1st and 2nd Graders, the Junior Division was 3rd-8th grade, and the Senior Division was grades 9-12.
