Melinda Vestal with Hospice of Wichita Falls traveled to Munday Nov. 28 to present the News-Courier with a Certificate of Appreciation for support with no-charge advertising and public relations to benefit the community. Vestal said Hospice was able to raise more than $600,000 thanks to support and partnership with the citizens and businesses in the area, including the News-Courier.

WICHITA FALLS-On Nov. 13 at 9 a.m., Hospice of Wichita Falls commemorated the legacy of the W. Erle and Emma White Inpatient Center. Beginning on Jan. 27, 1997, and ending on Oct. 9, 2023, this Center was home to first-class care and hospitality for 11,258 patients and their families.
