WICHITA FALLS-On Nov. 13 at 9 a.m., Hospice of Wichita Falls commemorated the legacy of the W. Erle and Emma White Inpatient Center. Beginning on Jan. 27, 1997, and ending on Oct. 9, 2023, this Center was home to first-class care and hospitality for 11,258 patients and their families.

KNOX COUNTY – Proposition 4 allowing the state to spend$18billiononproperty taxcutsforhomeownersand businesses, cut school districts’ tax rates and other tax changes, passed with 83% of votes, and Proposition 9 providing retired teachers a cost-of-living raise passed with 84% of votes.
MUNDAY – The City Council met in regular session on Nov. 14 and approved the grant from the Development Corporation of Munday – A Board (DCOM) for a donation of approximately $56,000 to the Munday Volunteer Fire Department to help fund the infrastructure of the new Rodeo Arena. Expenditures over $10,000 by the A Board must be approved by the City Council and the council supported the donation.
