The Childress District of the Texas Department of Transportation’s (Tx-DOT) received the In-House Seal Coat Award for Summer 2025 roads on Sept. 9 during the Maintenance and Traffic 2026 Safety Conference in Grapevine.
The award recognizes the district’s work in delivering a successful seal coat program and preserving roadways across the 13-county Childress District.
