After more than five years of service to the Knox City community, Officer Eddie Blackburn is leaving the Knox City Police Department to begin the next chapter of his career. Blackburn began his service to Knox City joining the Knox City Volunteer Fire Department in May 2019 being hired by the Knox City Police Department as a part-time officer in September 2021, becoming full-time in January 2022.
