Munday High School’s 2026 Homecoming weekend marks 100 years since the selection of the Mogul as Munday’s mascot.

Back in 1925 Munday High School Student Homer C. Parker submitted the Mogul to be the school mascot. The football team had played two football games without a mascot. Parker said he had been leaning over a dictionary open to the M’s and saw the word staring back at him.
