PEGGY ANN GRINDSTAFF Peggy Ann (Edge) Grindstaff, 85, a resident of Knox City for more than 65 years, passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022.

Jean Coody, 82, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday, Dec.22,2022. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home in Amarillo. Jean was born Dec. 27, 1939, in Weinert, to William and Stannie Orsak. Jean worked as a District Clerk in Hereford for many years. Before her career as District Clerk, she graduated top of her class from WT with a degree in education. As a Teacher and PE Coach at Hereford High School, she started the first girls’volleyball team and took them to state. Jean had the greatest sense of humor. To say she enjoyed dancing is an understatement. She also loved gardening and watching tennis. She adored her miniature poodle, Felicia, and thought of her as her third child. Felicia is 13 years old, and the two were inseparable. Her grandchildren were her purpose and she loved nothing more than to spend time with them.
