Nahwana Diane Lambeth Donoho, 81, affectionally known as "Wanie", went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022. She was born Jan. 21, 1940 in Goree, to Fan and Merle Lambeth.
Wanie was an outgoing and popular student at Goree High School where she was named "Miss Goree High School." She went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Midwestern State University with a degree in education. Wanie taught Junior and Senior English at San Angelo and Munday, where she was fondly known as "Mrs. D" by her students. She loved to have fun and teach them to prepare for the future.
Wanie was a member of First Baptist Church in Munday. She loved to visit and gossip with her many lady friends at church and school.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fan and Merle Lambeth.
Wanie is survived by her husband Doug Donoho of Wichita Falls; children Kathy and partner Ruben, Jay and wife Amy, and Zane and wife Kristi; seven beautiful grandchildren Elysa, Caleb, Cooper, Kathryn, Carter, Knox and Corbin.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 8 at the First Baptist Church in Munday. Interment followed in Goree Cemetery under the direction of McCauley-Smith Funeral Home.
