    When somebody says they have none, I think they just haven’t been paying attention.

    Then the Edith Piaf song plays in my head. When she belts out “je ne regrette rien,” you gotta believe her.

    The double negatives reinforce the sentiment. “I do not regret nothing,” she sings. Yes, I know. Double negatives cancel each other out in English, but they don’t in French. Meanwhile, in case…
