Alumni honored at Weinert Homecoming

Body WEINERT – Outstanding alumni are honored at every Weinert Homecoming and this year continued the tradition. 114 persons were registered but even more attended the Weinert Bulldog Homecoming event on Oct. 5., 2024, according to Homecoming Chairperson Mary Murphy.

Body Tomato soup has long been a fall favorite. I often have tomatoes to use upas I take them off the vines before the first freeze. I experiment with my recipe about once a year, and currently, I love the richness the caramelized onions add to this version.

Body MUNDAY – More than 60 people gathered at the Munday Church of Christ on Oct. 5 to help Lessie Inez Nicholson celebrate her 100th birthday. Born Oct. 5, 1924, Lessie hit the century mark last Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024.
