By Don Thompson KNOX COUNTY – This April only 0.59 inches of rain was recorded at the James E. “Bud” Smith Plant Materials Center north west of Knox City, according to Manager Brandon Carr. Last year only .088 inches was received in April, so both this April and last April are well below the April average of 1.97 inches.
