Knox City council members met on Sept. 20 and reviewed and approved the 2022-2023 budget and tax rate. The tax rate was set at 0.78790510 per $100 valuation to support the approved budget. City Administrator Brian Barboza reported the only new big item in the budget is a lease vehicle for the police department.
