Munday council reaches agreement with former police chief, swears in new mayor Longan
After a brief closed session during the Munday city council meeting April 15, 2026, an agreement was apparently reached behind closed doors between the city council and Police Chief Albert DeLeon regarding the matter of his job termination. Attorneys representing both parties were present, with Lina Trevino representing DeLeon, and city attorney Dan Branum the City of Munday.
