Airport taxiway repairs

Paschal Peysen to be remembered this Veterans Day

Body BENJAMIN – As the Wichita Brazos Museum and Knox County residents have done every year since 2002 (except for 2020 due to Covid concerns), a Gold Star veteran has been chosen to be honored on Veterans Day. This year, World War II war hero Paschal Alford Peysen is being remembered.

Purple Cloud receives straight 1’s

Body MUNDAY – The Purple Cloud band performed its marching show “Zeus: King of the Gods” on Oct. 15 at the UIL Marching Contest in Wichita Falls and earned Superior ratings from all judges.

Drug awareness program at Knox City junior high

Body KNOX CITY – Police Chief Richard Candelaria invited Officer Brian Arias, Crime Stoppers Coordinator with the Wichita Falls Police Department, to address the 5th through 8th grade students about drug awareness, especially the increase of use of the dangerous drug fentanyl.
