Airport taxiway repairs

Body MUNDAY – At the regular scheduled City Council meeting on Oct. 11, council members learned that city officials and TXDOT will meet with contractors in negotiations to finalize repairs to the taxiway, part of the airport remodel project first reported on in May 2021.

Paschal Peysen to be remembered this Veterans Day

Body BENJAMIN – As the Wichita Brazos Museum and Knox County residents have done every year since 2002 (except for 2020 due to Covid concerns), a Gold Star veteran has been chosen to be honored on Veterans Day. This year, World War II war hero Paschal Alford Peysen is being remembered.
