Knox City resident to be honored

    By Don Thompson KNOX CITY – Edward Braxton Shaver Sr. was accepted as an honoree for this year’s Texas Agriculture Memorial Day celebration to be held in the Texas State Capital auditorium in Austin on Nov. 21 at 2 p.m., according to grandson Arthur B. “Rob” Robertson III. Ed Shaver and his family arrived in Haskell County in 1915 from Williamson County, just north of Austin. ...
