The Knox City Greyhounds traveled to Jayton for their season opener against the Cherokee Indians on Saturday, August 30.
Performing in the Gridiron Classic invitational, the Greyhounds fell short of the #13 Division 2 Indians 30-62.
It will be a race of the Greyhounds Friday, Sept. 5 as Knox City hosts the Division 2 #3 Strawn at home at 7 p.m.
