Karen Kaye Carnahan, 62 of Seymour, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, in Wichita Falls.
No services will be held at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Karen was born August 24, 1963 in Wolf Point, Montana, to Willard Noven and Shirley Elizabeth Bretzke Lee. She was married to Terry Carnahan for 25 years, and was a proud military wife, following him throughout his military career along with their four children. Terry remains her best friend to this day. Karen was the store manager of Allsup’s for several years, until a heart attack wouldn’t allow her to work any longer.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents Willard and Shirley Bretzke Lee and sisters Claudia Anne, Nadine Lee and Debbie Strom.
She is survived by her sons Derrick Carnahan, Justin and Tiffany Carnahan of Seymour; daughters Lynette and Corky Petty of Seymour, Kayla Copeland and Devin of Arlington; grandchildren Camryn, Lily, Jace, Payton, Ava, Rowen, Conrad and Kynzi; and her siblings, Bob (Geraldine) Lee of Ellinwood, Kansas, Darwin “Snook” (Kathy) Lee, Allen “Swede” (Diane) Lee and Wanda Lanchbury, all of Post Falls, Idaho, Jackie “Jake” (Teiney) Carver of Paulsbo, Washington, Vonnetta “Net” Smith of Winnemucca, Nevada, her twin sister and best friend Kathy Eisch of Great Falls, Montana; numerous nieces and nephews; all of her family whom she loved very much.
