FLINT RICHARDSON

Flint Arthur Richardson, 66, passed away July 7, 2025. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Services were under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes, Knox City.

Flint was born June 26, 1959, in Knox City, Texas, to Lois and Tommy Richardson. Flint was a man of many talents. He was a skilled carpenter, business owner and loved farming and ranching, especially working with his cattle. After his retirement he enjoyed being an owner/operator for Oakley Trucking.

Flint was an adoring husband to his wife Christy of 34 years, a dedicated father to his four children, and the best PaPa to his six grandchildren. Flint embraced hard work and pursued every endeavor with an optimistic outlook and joy for life. He always found the silver lining in every situation. His kindness was unmatched. He loved a good joke and found immense joy in making his friends and family laugh. His authentic and genuine way of being made a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Flint was also an avid music fan and passed down his love for music to all four of his children. His faith, humor, wit and presence will be greatly missed.

Flint is survived by his wife, Christy, of Knox City; sons Eric and wife, Mona, of Waxahachie, Chris and wife, Carly, of Fort Worth and Clayton of Columbus, Ohio; daughter, Kristi and husband, Rick, of Amarillo; grandchildren Avery and husband, Jakob, Taylor, Tres, Rheanna, Jacob and Josiah; sister Cathy and husband, Derrell; brother Sid and wife, Monica; many nieces and nephews that meant the world to him; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Tommy Richardson, and brother Tad.
