Body

James Jungman, born July 7, 1936, in Munday, Texas, as eldest son of Ed and Hazel Jungman, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26.

James is survived by daughter Melinda Davis; granddaughter Melissa Cooper; great-grandchildren Stephanie Doyle and Mathew Batson; great-great granddaughter Blakely Batson; and nephew Steve Jungman.

Jim was preceded in death by brothers Howard Wayne and Eddie Wayne, and daughter Terry Jane.

James started his career as a machinist at General Dynamics working on the B-29 assembly and continued his career as a precision machinist in the printing press industry. He was proud of his machinist skills, his ability to repair almost anything using his ingenuity, and his talent for making many unique assemblies in his own fabrication shop. He loved fishing, enjoyed the many projects his lake houses provided, and enjoyed spending time outdoors with his longtime best friend, Jim Amyx.

The family will have a celebration of life at a future date at his home in Colleyville, Texas, where he had resided since 1980.
